Who is Scott Meyer?

Well I’ll tell you who he was first. He started off with us at the first box so he gets the rare spot As an OG (original gangsta) supercharged athlete. He had pretty good strength and a ton of endurance but one thing that was his Achilles heel was his mobility. He could Barley do a PVC to overhead squat when we first started tackling any kind of overhead position.

After quite a bit a work, we’re talking a few months, we started to get some weight on the bar with great position. Now he didn’t get here by blowing out the b day candles and wishing for his version of a shiny red bike, he put In a ton of extra mobility work. He also gets tremendous credit for being very coach-able in the sense that he put his full trust in the coaches when we gave him lower weights or subbed movements that his mobility wouldn’t allow him to do.

About 27 days ago he hit a full snatch at I believe 105-115 with flawless technique which came from his new found mobility and ability to hold back until he was ready. That is who Scott Meyer is.
