Metcon (AMRAP – Rounds and Reps)

Workout of the Day

A.
In teams of three, complete as many rounds as possible in 15 minutes of:

Burpees x 6 reps
Kettlebell Swings x 9 reps

Rest EXACTLY three minutes, and then:

B.
In teams of three, complete as many rounds as possible in 15 minutes of:

Push-Ups x 6 reps
Box Jumps x 9 reps

For both the A and B portion, team members will cycle through full rounds one at a time, with only one member working at any one time.

Coaches’ Notes:

While at nationals this past week I had the honor of watching multiple American records broken, none more impressive then this 153 kilo (336.6 lbs) clean and jerk.
The most impressive part is that he is 14 years old. He broke the senior American record that men all the way up to the age 35 years old have the chance to own. I’d say the future of weightlifting is in good hands
