I’ve always been involved in sports and athletics growing up. Football, wrestling were my main sports but I also did track, soccer and hockey.

I was first exposed to CrossFit in 2007 while forward deployed to Iraq. Coming from a bodybuilding style lifting background it was a big change as you would expect from someone with a get big lift big mentality.

I began to do CrossFit on and off for the next couple of years. I also get involved in some amateur MMA fighting during this time with the Marine Corps.

In 2009 I suffered an injury will serving in Iraq. I separated from the military in 2011 and due to the injury I had sustained had not really exercised at all since it happened. I found myself very over weight and depressed. June of 2011 I reached my limit and decided to make a change. I started doing CrossFit again. Beginning in my backyard and after a few months reached my limits at home. I sought out my first box and ended up at CrossFit Fury in Arizona.

The rest is pretty much history. Moved to New Jersey in 2012 got certified and started coaching. I built and ran a CrossFit program from the ground up for a couple years. I’ve competed several times and I am looking to start competing in Olympic Weightlifting as well. I’ve had a life changing experience from CrossFit and this is where my passion stems from.

My purpose is to share my story and help other people find their way on their journey for healthy living. Now I’m here at Turbocharged/Supercharged amongst great people to continue serving the fitness community.
